BURLEIGH WAY 

Up to 1st floor RC structure (transfer deck supported on concrete columns). Between 1st  and 4th Floor PC hollowcore planks are supported on load bearing masonry walls. Roof designed as timber rafters supported on steel frames. According to Building Regulations 2000 and to avoid progressive collapse, all RC elements including RC transfer slab have been designed as "key element". To provide lateral stability a system of independent RC Shear walls has been introduced.
