The proposed 7 storey office building consists of an in situ reinforced concrete frame (PT flat slabs) with columns arranged on a 7.5m x 7.5m and 7.5m x 10.025m orthogonal grid. A central circulation RC core provides lateral stability to the building. Given that there were various site constraints and third parties involved, the design had to be focused on resolving the interfaces and gaining third party approval prior starting any construction/demolition works on site. An appropriate ground movements analysis had to be undertaken to assess impact on the underground tunnels around the site.

The following approvals were required for the proposed building:

         Thames Water approval.

         Royal Mail approval.

         LUL approval.

         Highway roads approval
